
Our origin dates back to hundreds of years ago, when the growing of olive trees expanded all along the Mediterranean coast. In south-Catalan regions Montsià and Baix Ebre, there are many farmers that grow olives and produce one of the most valued ingredients in the Mediterranean cuisine: olive oil. Mild winters, mestral wind and a low altitude are natural elements that confer singularity to our olive oil.

Acomont olive oil is the result of the joined efforts made by the Olive Oil Cooperatives in La Galera, Mas de Barberans, Ulldecona, Sant Gregori in Santa Bàrbara and Olivarera del Baix Ebre in Camarles. After many years of experience, we produce and trade Acomont olive oil in several varieties: "virgen" (virgin), "extra virgen" (extra virgin), soft and the top-quality Ilercavonia, all of them guaranteed by "Baix Ebre- Montsià" DO through modern technical and mechanical procedures.
